E329 departing Floyd Bennett Field at end of Haz Mat drill on Nov 3 2015. BTW, This is a week after the third anniversary of Superstorm Sandy)
Airport Control tower is in background. Note fourth section of suction hose (to increase reach), surfboard (the firehouse is about 1,000 feet from the Atlantic Ocean and suffered major flooding from Hurricane Sandy) and the change on the colors in the stripes - now it's orange and blue - left over from 1684 when New Amsterdam was ceded to the English and became New York.

Nice shot of the FDNY hose load - 3.5, 2.5 and 1.75 inches all preconnected and very neatly flaked for different situations, as well as the 6.0 inch suctions of course.

Very quick to deploy, but really time consuming to repack. Nobody has figured out how to speed up that part of the job yet!
