Leyland Interim Beaver Merryweather Turntable Ladder GXA 83 in the High Street in Dudley. The machine is being using during an Auxiliary Fire Service recruitment campaign and the boards advertise the film, “Red Skies of Montana”, released February 1952 and being shown at The Gaumont. This suggests the photo was taken early 1952.

This is a WWII built 100' TTL on a Leyland TSC18 chassis, not an Interim Beaver!!
