This was donated to D&M Fire service in the 60's by Lord Trevor of Byn-y-Pys Hall. Firefighters at Wrexham renovated it to a working condition, it was shown working at Wrexham Guildhall Sq till it was discovered it did not have a Vulcan Boiler certificate it was then only use for display, it was kept at Chirk Fire Station. Unknown to the Wrexham lads the new Chief fire Officer of the newly formed Clwyd Fire Service, donated it to Morton in the Marsh training college as it was taking too much room at the Chirk Station. I was one of those firefighters.

She also stood by at Bangor-on-Dee racecourse filling the water jump for many years too.

The Bryn-y-Pys fire engine was not donated by Lord Trevor but was bought by Tom Parry ln 1950 when the Bryn-y-Pys was sold.
