Newport Pagnell's Rescue Pump

This is one of four ERF ECS8 Rescue Pump's in Buckinghamshire. It is bodied by Plasticol & TVAC. These appliances are only pump's in the country. It was originally based at Bletchley but was replaced in 2005 by the original Scania P94DB-260-CP31/Emergency One appliances. It is registered OV51 FCU.

Last year, this appliance was re-painted from orange to red and had battenburg livery fitted. Only 1 of these has the original left.

I think is the ugliest appliances I have have ever seen but it's better with the new livery.

Looks ok to me and its not the worst I have seeen , looks quite purposefull and a lot better looking than devons new mans with the tiny wheels , nice wide steps to get in and out and the cab looks roomy , i do think firefighters like their appliances to look good and this one looks the part
