New Zealand IsuzuSpot the mistake! When this appliance came back from the signwriters the fact that the S & Z on the front were transposed was not detected and no one has changed it since. So this 2012 "Izusu" is based on a NQR500C chassis and was introduced as a prototype light appliance for the New Zealand Fire Service and was built by Lockhead Martin. Originally allocated to Paihia as a trial it has yet to find a permanent home. At the time this photograph was taken in July 2014 it was undergoing a brief trial with the Temuka volunteer brigade.
