Nissan trucks are built in Spain, and are quite often used to build light and medium pumpers by local firms, including Rosenbauer Espana.

Many Spanish cities operate both alongside each other, because the light pumper can usually get into side streets which defeat full-size units.

Although they carry less equipment and water, they perform a very useful role, and are often dispatched by themselves to handle technical service calls, as well as responding with other units to attend fire calls.
