Adelaide Rosenbauer/Metz Scania

Rosenbauer-Metz fire engine on Scania chassis. Waiting to be shipped to Australia.
Seen in Leonding (Austria) at Rosenbauer's.
Sorry I don't have firther details on the truck right now.
License plates are German customs plates, so the engine was built at the Metz factory.

What is the maximum working height of this vehicle? Thanks!

Added by Sham Suen Yin on 25 June 2014.
AFAIK it's a 20 meters ladder (working height) but I'm not 100% sure about that. I will add further details if I can get some.

You're welcome, Sham Suen Yin. Actually it's 21m working height as I learned recently. The truck is also equipped with a 4500 lpm Rosenbauer NH45 pump which is a combined normal/high pressure pump. The compartments hold various equipment.

Thank you once again, Martin Siegel

Martin:

The fact that is is dual rear axle suggests it might have a biggish water tank, too - although some Australian fire services buy tandem axle Scanias even if they don't...

Rob,
I just had a look here:
"emergencyvehiclesapp.com/vehicle/3304"
According to the site it has a 2, 000 liter water tank plus 200 liter class B foam tank. This means roughly 2.2 tons additional weight which might justify the twin axles.

Martin:

Thanks - look a bit like they are trying to get a lot of everything on one truck - not always a good idea!
