Great photo, Warren, as always! A very impressive rig, but I believe most people do not associate this powder blue paint job with the fire service. More like a utility or telephone company truck than a fire department unit?
I know many volunteer and quite a few full-time fire companies like to have distinctive liveries, which are often traditional and it is a free country! But I do respect the idea in most other countries around the World that some shade of red is generally understood to mean "fire truck".
Indeed, colors like this sky blue, black or green may be a safety hazard. Other drivers may not recognize that these are emergency vehicles quite as quickly, particularly when they are at an incident scene.
