This pumper is stationed alongside a Government supplied Pierce engine, but this Freightliner is 'contracted' by the hotel industry on the South rim of the National Park, hence the logo on the cab door. The hotel industry is also expected to supply some volunteer firefighters. This information was supplied by a very friendly officer who is also involved with law enforcement. This photo was taken in January 2014.
