During the late 1970s a number of medium appliances were built for the New Zealand Fire Service on Commer & Dodge chassis. This is a 1978 Commer RG13 built by Mills Tui. It is believed to have spent its entire operational life with the Darfield volunteer brigade but now forms part of the Ferrymead museum collection and was photographed in October 2013.
