See also picture 30289. This 1964 Dennis F106 was new to Dunedin and forms part of the Ferrymead collection. It was photographed in October 2013 having just emerged following a lengthy refurbishment and repaint.

Was this fitted with a winch at one time?

No. As far as can be determined it has the fittings to mount a winch but never actually had one installed.

Dennis used a similar attachment at bumper lever to mount two bells for those appliances needing a low overall height.
