New Zealand ERF
A personal favourite of mine is this restored Wormald built 1971 ERF 84PFS. Originally new to Christchurch it now forms part of the Ferrymead museum collection and was photographed waiting to appear in the Lincoln brigade jubilee celebrations in October 2013.

Greetings David from the UK. I'm doing research into ERF fire appliances worldwide and I've been looking at New Zealand. Do you have any records of ERFs in use in NZ? I have been doing Internet searches and have found that the New Zealand Fire Service operated several and some still survive. Also I've seen a rear-mounted plate that says "Manufactured by Wormald Brothers Fire Protection in New Zealand - bodywork by G. N. Hale and Son Ltd." I assume that means that Wormald sub-contracted to Hale but I can't find anything on the Internet about the company except a court case. Please can you help. Very nice shot of the Christchurch ERF, looks very impressive.
