Thank you very much Marcel, I have been to Zandvoort a few times and remember the small old station. I'm back in Holland in November visiting relatives. Thanks again.

Zandvoort have received a brand new MAN/DRV 4x4 pump last week. So perhaps a visit to Zandvoort is interesting for you.

Have they gone mad with led lights? Seem to be all round the rucks , sides, ladders, roof etc , don't know if it looks good or not but you sure will not miss them!

Alan, those what you call led lights are actually reflective livery. I had to use the flash on my camera.

The Veiligheidsregio Kennermerland is having cutbacks, in 2014 they will decide if Zandvoort loses their TL. Beverwijk, Heemstede and Haarlem West have already lost their aerials. If this cutback goes ahead only 4 aerials are left for the region.
