Seen at Lincolnshire Steam & Vintage Rally August 18th 2013. Compare with 22188. Much work done!

Information board says it was originally supplied to Cranfield College Airfield. Present owner has had it since 2005 and has done a beautiful restoration job.

This Series 1 Land Rover is one of only 47 built as a fire tender for the Ministry of Supply; this was prior to the outsourcing of such conversions, built in-house at the Solihull factory.
