Hello Philip..
What Was This Wagon Doing in Saltburn and Whats all them other Blue Light Vehicles Parked along side and in the Back Ground.. Look's like a Big Event???

Added by Dave Todd on 17 August 2013.
Was nothing much on, these vehicles were just on show

Added by Tony Hayers on 14 October 2013.
I thought it was for a show as well as the vehicle featured is far too old for anything other than preservation?

Added by Dan Moodyshire on 15 October 2013.
Hi, who provided the emergency vehicles for the show please? Is this fire engine still in use with the Events Company?

Added by Frank Raphael on 05 March 2015.

The Event Cover was done by a Joint Operation of Two Professional Organisations.. Teesside Voluntary Emergency Service's (TVES) and Kingston Upon Hull Voluntary Emergency Service's (KUHVES), This event was on TVES Ground and because of the AIRCRAFT taken part in the Show (KUHVES) Provided the CAA Air side Fire Cover as well as providing a Rescue Unit for The Stunt Show of RUSS SWIFT.. (TVES) Provided Domestic Fire Cover and Back up to the CAA TEAM, Plus First Aid Cover, Security, Child Safety, Inshore & Ocean Water Rescue Teams (Both WITH RIB & FULL WATER RESCUE BOATS) Plus Many other services on the day..

Good to see these old pumps still working. What other appliances attended this event?

Mr Todd you sound like you have a good set up. I am the same, I run First Aid & Fire Cover on events, Many contracts in the North East and North Yorkshire.

Hi all,
I have just come across this photo, a superb wagon. I believe it is now in preservation. When this photo was taken who had ownership of this engine? Also, what was this event as I’m heavily involved in event safety.

Many thanks

Hi all this is a long shot but I’m trying to find out we’re this wagon is being preserved as my grandfather purchased it straight from Kent FB when it was retired and my father would drive it to fire shows in Eastbourne it was kind of his pride and joy as he was a firefighter with Kent FB at the time any information would be much appreciated

Ed for more information on current whereabouts see
