Tyne and Wear FRS's Command Support Unit at a water rescue incident at Fatfield in Sunderland on Tuesday 23 July 2013. This was the control for this multi agency incident involving Tyne & Wear FRS (including the Swift Water Rescue Team), Northumberland FRS (Swift Water Rescue), North East Ambulance Service, including their Hazardous Area Response Team, Northumbria Police and the Coastguard Rescue Service from Sunderland. Sadly,the two teenagers that the teams were searching for died after being lost in the River Wear for 6 to 7 hours.
