Relatively inexpensive and flexible water rescue/recovery set up. Simply a standard three ton van toeing a rubber boat with outboard motor carried on a small trailer.
As long as a crane or hoist is not needed to get the boat into (and out of) the water, this combination works just fine.
Not surprising that this solution is very common in Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as other countries, although more elaborate water rescue units on truck chassis are also to be found...
