Hampshire Fire & Rescue "Incident Command Unit" at a job in Southampton, UK, on 15th July 2013. According to Hampshire Fire, it acts as a reporting point for all responding fire appliances and officers arriving at an incident and a focal point for all other services and agencies who may arrive at the incident. It is based at the Specialist Response Centre at Service Headquarters in Eastleigh, and those who man it train on a Wednesday night.

Editor: Can anyone tell me who built this unit/chassis ?

What was wrong with the term control unit? Or do all OICs think they are Bruce Forsyth ("I'm in charge") for those that remember. Surely control of the fire ground is more important than command!

It's like Merseyside. it was always called the Control room till we got a new chief he changed it to MACC. That stands for Mobilising and Command and Control.
