If I'm not mistaken, it looks like the same model of Dennis Metz that Durham County had way back in the 60s.
Is this one still in service??

No it's been out of service for many years. Grampian kept this, an F8 and an N type in preservation. The F8 was sold off a few months ago, there are pictures of both other appliances on this site.

Beautiful machine. Was in it only a couple of months ago. Needs a little recommissioning work but wouldn't take much to get her back to show condition.

I believe the Brigade tried to sell the registration plate but weren't allowed to.... Not sure if it's true but heard it from someone in the Brigade at the time.
