New Zealand Scania P310 Frasers DZ6987

The first of 37 heavy pumps built on the Scania P310 chassis for the New Zealand Fire Service by Frasers between 2007 & 2011, this was the only example not to be fitted out in the new corporate colour scheme. Delivered in 2007 it served at Sockburn until 2012 where it was replaced by a newer example. It has now been transferred to Woolston where it was photographed in March 2013.

The P310 will mark the last generation of Scania pump with the New Zealand Fire Service for some time as it has been decided the next build of heavy pump will be based on MAN chassis.
