New Zealand Iveco Eurocargo Fire truck DUP228

One of the last of the first batch of Iveco based appliances built for the New Zealand Fire Service. The initial appliances such as this 2006 Iveco 120E24 built by SPEL featured a separate pump motor. However they proved initially troublesome and subsequent appliances reverted to PTO powered pumps. New to Richmond, following the arrival of a replacement Iveco it was transferred to Leeston where it was photographed at the end of January 2013 while still yet to enter service.
