This 1965 Bedford KELC3 was new to the New Zealand Government Department the Ministry of Works and was allocated to the new hydro town of Twizel while a massive hydro project was completed. It is now operated as a charity fundraising appliance and was photographed at a promotional event in March 2013.

It looks as if it has a very large crew cab, whether or not this might have been original.

As with a lot of Kiwi fire trucks, the body builders made full use of the standard factory cab and doors.
