Hyundai Pazhan water rescue car in Esfahan (Iran)

To bring Fire scuba-divers to their task the Esfahan(Iran) fire department uses this nice looking car. To cope with different terrains the car is 4 wheel driven.

The Pazhan is actually a Land Rover Defender clone and build by an Iranian company Morattab which used the parts and moulds of ex licensed Land Rover builder Santana Motors in Spain. THe Morattab Pazhan only used the Hyundai engine and gearbox.

I hope it is better built than the Iranian-assembled Peugeots. When I was in Teheran the local joke was that all they needed was a pair of wipers on the inside of the windscreen, because of the water leaks!
