Eaton Rescue 2321

This Super Vak rescue unit went into service in 1999. It recently saw some major modifications including a new auto extrication system in the rear. The extrication system is self contained and has a roll our drawer which holds all preconnected tools. It also has a light tree to make night time traffic accidents a heck of a lot more easy to deal with. The light tree is all remote driven with a memory to fold it back down automatically. This vehicle holds 4 firefighters.

Oops! Type error. This Unit pictured is 2321 (not 2301). We have numerical designations in our area of Colorado for the engines (zeros, ie 2301, engine 1), water tenders (fourties, ie 2341, tender 1), rescues (twenties, ie 2321, rescue 1), utility vehicles (fifties, ie 2351, chief's vehicle), brush engines (thirties, ie 2331, brush unit 1), and etc. 23 signifiies our department designation. The last two digits signify type of vehicle and it's use. This is how is how we are paged out from dispatch depending on the type of emergency call it is. Sorry for the mistake.
