Marcel - interesting-looking truck. Do you know the reason for the unique shape of the rear door window? Odon't think I've seen anything like this before!

I think it's just to match the shape of the front-door window. With some double cabs (though not this one), they use identical doors, so as not to have to manufacture different front and rear ones.
See picture 6975 for an example of identical front & rear doors. If they look like Mercedes doors, it's because Freightliner is a North American Daimler subsidiary.

You are right. Now I look at it very carefully, I can see it is actually a shortened version of the front door, with a modification to the lower edge - which looks a bit "glued on". Not very attractive or elegant, but presumably cheaper than building a custom door from scratch!

Don't know if Iveco builds factory crew cabs like Scania does? If they do perhaps this one is a example?

IVECO does build crew cabs in house, this one looks to have been built by the maker of the bodywork.
