I am a bit puzzled by Londons numbering system. This is TL 52, but according to their website the fleet has far fewer than 52 aerial trucks.

Anyone able to enlighten us?

Rob, when the LFB became what it is today back in 1965, they have just kept the fleet numbers going as new appliances join the fleet, such as pump 1, pump 2 pump 3 etc

So, you could say this truck is the 52nd TL London has had since 1965!
