141 is the fleet number and not the station number. All of Kent's fleet had the station names removed from the rear doors some time in 2011 when the new chief officer (never been a firefighter!) decided to put the retained fire fighters on new contracts putting stations into clusters. This has put many stations off the run when under the old system they were not, the knock on to this has been for some very far cover moves, Faversham at Tenterden! and so on.I won't go on about this but just ask the end users the firefighters who have mixed opinions about this!
Getting back to the fleet you may have noticed that displayed on the dash bottom of the front window are some numbers and letters, these give the station and type of appliance.
