New Zealand Wellington Dennis F14 ladder

This 1953 F14 was the only example to arrive in New Zealand and features a 30m Metz ladder. It was new to Wellington and is now in private ownership. It is still fully operational (it was not extended fully when photographed due to it interfering with nearby helicopter operations!). It was photographed in late 2012.

David. I often wondered how the ladder and pump operation were coordinated, as both were driven by the road engine, and each had its own throttle control.
