Lothian and Borders FRS WRL/ET SN04CMK
SN04 CMK Scania /Emergency one WRL/ET based at Tranent. Seen as relief crew at a 6 pump fire that occurred at North Berwick Fire Station in the early morning on 3/12/12. Other appliances also in attendance at the time this picture was taken were Dalkeith WRL/ET, Crewe Toll WRT/ET,Kelso WRT/ET, McDonald Rd HP, Liberton CSU and the Welfare Pod from Crewe Toll.

Have heard that the North Berwick WRL/ET (callsign 681 W645 RSC) should be back at North Berwick before christmas. They are now running from a council yard in the town with 1 spare appliance. Looking at the station again today I think it will be rebuilt as no parts of it other than the roofs of the appliance bay and entrance / watch room etc have been demolished or collapsed so the building looks pretty much structurally intact. They are only going to run with 1 appliance for the time being in their temporary accomodation.

North Berwicks 1st machine W645 RSC returned to North Berwick in early February. The spare appliance that had been deputising, T236 RFS was to then be withdrawn from service.
