Featured elsewhere on this site, this 1973 International 1820 was built by Chapmans originally for the Nelson fire brigade. It has for many years served the Ashburton District Council at the Mayfield Fire Party. In 2012 after 39 years service it is shown having finally entered retirement. It is hoped to be passed to a local transport museum in Ashburton.
