Colmar, PA is northwest of Philadelphia, in the outer suburbs. Their website has a nice apparatus gallery; trucks are a mixture of Hahn, KME, and American La France, all with Roto-rays. Their traffic-control van is a very European-looking Sprinter, albeit with Dodge branding. Sprinters are increasingly common in the US as commercial vans, but they are rarely seen as emergency vehicles.
Just to comment on Michael's observation on Sprinters being rarely used for emergency vehicles, in the Connecticut area, private ambulances companies are adding Sprinters to their fleets faster than any other vehicle it seems.
Here in the Pacific Northwest, the ambulance services are sticking with the old reliable Ford and Chevy vans, generally of the box-on-chassis variety.
In Portland, the medic services are contracted out to AMR (American Medical Response); some of the suburbs use Rural Metro instead; both companies like the Fords. We see a lot of Sprinter delivery vans, and some minibuses and taxis, but no emergency vehicles.
