Originally built to a national design by AAA Engineering in Australia such as this 2004 example, these light rural appliances are now designed and built in New Zealand. This appliance was caught during repairs in Oamaru in 2012 and is owned by the Waitaki District Council and based at the Windsor rural fire party.
