At the time of posting, this 2012 Hino FM1ARKA tanker represents the newest fire appliance in the Christchurch area. Built for the Christchurch City Council by Mills Tui it carries 11,000 litres of water. Currently allocated to the Brooklands brigade it will be relocated when this earthquake damaged community is finally closed and the buildings demolished.
