This classic is the 1st known Swab-built fire rig.Swab, of Elizabethville,PA. competed with the aforementioned Bruco for the rescue body business from about 1960-1980 in the Northeast and mid-atlantic US.Swab is still in business today, but they also build animal and utility truck bodies.
