East Sussex CSV.

Here is the first CSV to go on the run with East Sussex Fire Brigade. Going on the run at preston circus,Brighton in 1978 being replaced in 86 by a Bedford HSC HCB Angus pump which later went to Broad Oak and then Rye.
This pump went to Seaford then brigade spare before disposal in 1993.

Shaun. Did the HSC cab have the same safety characteristics as this original CSV, or was this a bit of marketing hype?

I remember this appliance, at Preston Circus, in 1979.
