It was sold to a local buyer who lives just West of Lincoln...how do I know this…it was me! (I blame my wife as she didn't talk me out of it). Generally the engine is in very good condition but as you expect there are few jobs that need to be done mostly to the locker doors and coach work. Hope to get out and about to a few local shows once the better weather is here.
AHH, that's where it went, your wife secretly likes the machine, she has good taste !! As you say "once the better weather is here", mine lives in the garage, not the wife, (MTU 317H, F38 ex Cheshire) it's on here somewhere photographed when Gavin Hall had it.I need to take the clutch out, I fear something is breaking up in that department, but it's bloody cold down the pit and the spanners are unforgiving !!! I am too mean to buy something to heat it, the great retired you see ! Good luck with it David
