FM = "Fourgon Mixte" or multi-purpose truck.

2000 LPM pump, water tank, foam branch, high pressure reel, two 70mm hose carts, 110mm flaked hoses for hydrant hookup and/or water relay, eight crew seats, BA, forcible entry equipment, lighting and ventilation gear and a full suite of ladders including a 15 meter extension, second short extension, hook and scaling ladders.

These formed part of the "depart normale" or normal response for a structure fire, along with a "PS" combined light pumper-ambulance and an aerial truck.

Many are still in use, but they are now gradually being replaced with the "FPT" or water tender, which has pretty much the same equipment with a larger 2, 900 liter water tank - and most recently an advanced CAFS installation for both class A and B fires.
