The latest delivery from Amdac Carmichael Limited is this hi-spec emergency tender which has been exported to the Qatar Petroleum Fire & Rescue Service.
The tender is based on an all wheel drive Scania P380 chassis featuring a rear mounted 15 x metre HIAB crane rated at 5400 kg @ 2.4 metres.
The specification includes a front mounted hydraulic winch capable of lifting 5400 kg; a 30 kVA 230/110 V PTO driven generator; 18 cfm 200 litre 230 V air compressor; 10 x fixed electric rewind h/reels (4 x 110 V; 2 x pneumatic; 4 x twin 350 bar HYD for ResQTec rescue equipment); 4 x 1500 W pan and tilt light mast; vehicle mounted 1/2 mile fog horn; LED lighting (emergency and scene); full hydraulic rescue equipment; confined space extraction rescue equipment; pneumatic shoring and stabilising equipment; high and low pressure air bags; portable generator; first aid equipment; portable lighting; and hand power tools stowed on pull out shelving and trays C/W pull out steps. The tender is finished with a powered awning on each side.
