At least it's not Assetco!

Added by Neal Glover on 25 July 2012.
Hi Neal you mention Assetco what is it ?

Added by Simon Roberts on 26 July 2012.
Assetco is the firm that owns and maintains Londons appliancs and as far as I know Lincolnshires as well. They took over TVAC and Papworth Industries as far as I know both are no longer trading.

Lincolnshire have taken back the appliances and removed assetco as that firm is in financial trouble.

Added by Dave Price on 27 July 2012.
Have Lincs taken back the more modern appliances that were swapped with London to meet London emission regs?

Added by Neal Glover on 27 July 2012.
I've heard, unconfirmed that Assetco are no longer trading and have been sold for 2Pounds!?
Does anyone know the position re the ownership of Londons appliances? One assumes they still have some.

Added by Neal Glover on 19 August 2012.
I believe it was the fleet that was sold for £2 rather than the company.

Presumably sold to London Fire Brigade they surely wouldn't make the same mistake twice, would they? What about the workshops?
