Karlsruhe is quite unusual in its preference for Scania. They are relatively rare in Germany, and also very few and far between in France, Italy and Spain, although very popular in the UK, and some central European countries as well as of course Scandinavia.

Thus one has the long cab, which can be configured to accommodate up to ten riders, depending on what else is carried inside. These are to be found on some Scottish appliances, but are relatively unusual elsewhere.
