Glenn, a Dennis F8???, at this time we're still waiting for OD to finally release the long awaited Bedford WLG Heavy Unit(Grey/Red/Green liveries), the Austin ATV and trailer pump in the same liveries, a LFB Dennis RS Series('London's Burning')pump, and also models of a LFB Dennis F106 with rear pump and side mounted pump. All these models mentioned were due to be released during the 1st and 2nd quarters of this year, and yet were still waiting. I'm very interesting to hear Oxford are to release a Dennis F8 to their ever growing fleet of fire engines, but if so, I wonder how long we'll have to wait for it?.
Gents ive just looked up OD's website recently and the Bedford HU, Austin K2 ATV and Coventry Climax TrP Grey NFS has just been released plus Scania (Strathclyde) and Dennis F12 1.448 scale (Glasgow).
The NFS Bedford Heavy Unit, Austin ATV and TP, Strathclyde Scania and, Falklands TK are enroute to the UK now. The first F8 liveries are London/Middlesex, Glasgow and Northern Ireland.
Thanks very much gentlemen for the up-date on the long awaited Oxford models, I'm really looking forward to the Dennis F8 finally being released by someone in the 1.76 scale. Now all we need is for Oxford(OD)to think about releasing another classic from the period-a 1950's Bedford/Miles pump/pump Escape, and here's one modeller who will be very happy.
This may be ex wood greens pump? Station was in bounds green road when I was in Middlesex brigade. Station 11 I believe. Also had an accident ambulance at this station.my first station on leaving training school at Finchley was Stan 9 Fortis Green- noes closed.
