These large volume panel vans were originally designed and manufactured by OM. Versions had gross weights of 6.0, 7.5, 9.0 and 11.0 tons.
After OM was acquired by Fiat, the badging was changed and still later they were sold as Iveco. In Germany, they were also marketed by and badged as Magirus.
Numerous conversions to fire appliances were made in various countries including Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. This Irish ET seems however to have been only slightly modified. Other versions included pumpers, hazmat trucks, water/dive team rescues, command vans and a few compact 18 meter aerials.
