Fout Brothers Smyrna Ga USA
I live near Fouts Brothers, a fire truck manufacturer in Smyrna, Ga, USA. I was driving by and spotted these parked outside.
The pumper-tanker had a 1000gpm pump, with a 3000gal water tank, mounted on a Kenworth chassis with a tandem axle. It had 2 lengths of hard suction mounted on the left side under the tank, and a folding portable pond on the right. At the rear of the tank, it had 2 (2.5") intakes, and a dump chute.
The mini-pumper had a 1000gpm pump, with a 300gal water tank, mounted on a Ford F-550 chassis.
Other than previously mentioned, neither was equipped with hose, ladders, etc.
Both were about to be driven up to the 2012 Fire Department Instructors Conference Trade Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. They were to be used as demonstration vehicles at the show.
