A standard feature of all of these French brush trucks is the dual hose reels.

The hard rubber high pressure hose reel is complimented by a reel of several pre-connected lengths of unlined flat hose. This can be used over burned areas as it is designed to weep and as such becomes less likely to be burnt. Additional lengths are carried in the lockers.

Several SDIS operate MAN units like this. Others are Renault, Unimog and Iveco. Some have this very short crew cab with two outwards facing individual rear seats, others a more conventional three person bench.
