Fire Engines Photos

Thanks Ian for sharing these two photos of the AEC's, I particulary like this one. Do have a rear view of this appliance by any chance ?

Looks like some blistering of the paintwork towards the rear of the appliance. Did it get too close to a fire at some stage?

Dermot - It's not blistering. It's the reflection of the wheeled escape on the WrE that was parked alongside it.

Haha I think it's time for another eye test!! Thanks for clearing that up Ian.

Hello Ian, I'm just wondering if you might have the dates of when the white fronts were applied to this vehicle and its K reg sister? Billingham's two AECs (BXG2/29K)were delivered new with them, but these two Foam Tankers were new without them. Also the Dennis Delta HP (DDC1)which was delivered new in 1976 was also delivered without its white front. It didnt appear to get painted until around 1982/3. Would you have any of these dates at all?
