We sold lots of these Toyota light trucks when I was managing their import business in Kuwait. They are Hino's "baby brothers", and just as rugged and reliable.
Several other Japanese manufacturers build similar light trucks, and these are very popular with fire services there - and further afield in the far East and Middle East.
Although the Japanese versions rarely have water tanks, they can carry up to 1000 liters, depending on what else they have on board. The pumps are usually around 1000 LPM, the crew cab can accommodate up to six, and the overall footprint provides good manuverability and the ability to squeeze into most narrow side streets and alleys.
