These have bodywork by John Dennis coach builders (JDC) so are all but fire appliances, or at least rescue tenders with similar lifting jacking and cutting equipment. Based at tube depots like the Jubilee Line depot at Stratford very close to the Olympic Park 2012. By the way London FB are going to have three sponsored BMW Mini country rapid response units in the Olympic park and a couple of Mercedes Ategos at the three extra mini fire stations for 2012.

It was announced recently that these machines are getting blue lights, are to be driven by British Transport police drivers and have new lettering on the front saying police. This is part of the resilience for London for 2012 Olympic period.

they were at Exercise Forward Defensive yesterday at the disused Aldwych London Underground station. THe pictures make clear they are police driven and liveried but crewed by London Underground/Tube Lines engineering staff.

Some of these are in their original livery and some are in the police livery as I have seen both this summer in London. WX07NWB is in police livery.
