No, it's their own - and they designate it as Medium Volume Duty Pump (as distinct from the ND HVPU)

Do I understand from the posts on the old converted hose layer that this is it's replacement?

Thanks for sharing this which I imagine must be quite unique given the ND fleet.

Does anyone know Leicestershires justification for this appliance when it is so close to the HVPU's?

Yes, it is the replacement for the conversion, and it's probably justified as Leicestershire only have USAR pods, not an HVPU. Out of interest, the Tyne & Wear HVPU is also their own as opposed to being a ND issue.

Shropshire had a Medium Volume Pump based at Shrewsbury prior to the ND HVPU I think this is were the idea came from for the larger units.
