New Zealand Scania FFF405

Completed by Fraser Fire & Rescue in 2010 as a trial, this remains the only P310 built with a rear mounted pump and the only rear mounted NZ built heavy pump for many many years. The appliance toured the country serving at many stations & was rumoured to be very popular. With no more heavy pumps on order following completion of the current tender process it remains to be seen if future appliances will have a rear pump. This appliance is now awaiting redeployment on a permanent basis & is slated for allocation to the Sockburn station in Christchurch.
