New Zealand Mitsubishi tanker

This is a 1997 Mitsubishi FT517L that was imported from Japan into NZ as a used vehicle. It was converted by a local engineering firm into a 10,000 litre rural fire tanker & is owned by the Waitaki District Council & based with their rural fire party on the outskirts of Oamaru. (photo taken 2011).
